Pay per click (PPC) is a revenue model used by search engines where the client only pays when a person clicks on an advertisement that links directly to the client's website.
On behalf of clients, we bid on keywords that we believe the client's target market would type into Google when they are looking for the clients' service/product.
When a person types a keyword into a search engine that matches the keywords on the client's keyword list, the advertiser's advertisement may appear on the search results page.
These ads are called a "Sponsored link" or "sponsored ads" and appear in Google on the right hand side of the page and sometimes on top of the natural or organic results on the page.
The client pays only when the user clicks on the ad. Pay per click advertising is a search engine marketing technique. The client sets a budget per month that is hard wired into the campaign so that the campaign(s) automatically shut down once the budget has been spent.
